Comfort Company's Acta-Back provides support and relief to the hips, back and shoulders. It features a moldable center section and three layer foam construction including a Visco foam topper. What Makes This Different This unique backrest pad can be removed and molded to increase support and comfort for lumbar, scoliosis and kyphosis needs while the moldable aluminum stays are offset from the center removing pressure points from the spine. Why We Like It The Acta-Back also features patented Compass Hardware that is fully adjustable for height, depth and angle of recline. All adjustments can be made while the user is seated in the wheelchair and the quick release feature allows the backrest to be removed vertically in seconds. With the Compass Hardware only 1.5 of space is needed on each cane for mounting and the hardware fits 3/4, 7/8 and 1 tubing.
