Protekt Footrest Extender/Legrest Pad

The Protekt Footrest Extender/Legrest Pad is designed to help those who need assistance with posture and comfort when setting in their wheelchair. The pad will raise the feet and legs 1 – 2”. The additional support under the feet will also alleviate symptoms associated with drop foot. In addition to helping with positioning and comfort, the pad and footrest extension will help protect the lower leg from contact with the wheelchair. This can be very helpful to those are at risk for skin breakdown or impressions in the leg due to prolonged, direct pressure from the chair’s legrest. Another advantage of the legrest pad and footrest extender is that it creates a barrier behind the foot to keep the user’s feet from sliding off the footrest while providing comfortable padding to both the feet and calves. The Protekt Footrest Extender/Legrest Pad is just as easy to install on the wheelchair as it is to remove. Quick release straps connected to the pad simply wrap around the legrest.
