EasyCare Bed

The Joerns EasyCare electric bed frame is a Luminasys exclusive. This bed features grounded, full electric head and foot adjustments as well as electric height adjustments. The steel frame is incredibly strong with a 600 pound weight capacity, and the widely arched legs are great for getting wheelchairs and patient lifts right up to the bed. The bed is Roll-In-Low, which means that it only rolls when the bed is lowered to the floor. When elevated the bed automatically locks and will not move. This is ideal for home users who rarely move the bed. The bed has 4 casters, two of which lock. The Integrated Width Extension expands and retracts to provide a sleep surface of 35, 39, or 42. It quickly adjusts for easy passage through doorways, while remaining compliant with HBSW entrapment guidelines. Pendant Control The pendant control is the standard control on the EasyCare bed. This is a six-function remote that includes:  AdvanceCare Staff Control with Function Lockout, Programmable AutoTransfer Height, Programmable Gravity Assist and Trendelenburg/Reverse Trendelenburg. It can be operated by either the patient or caregiver and can be used on either side of the bed. Optional SafeLight underbed light available sold with the staff control. Headboard/Footboard Panel To make the bed fit in with your decor head and foot panels are available. The panels are available in a Classic and Traditional laminate finishes. Assist Handle The EasyCare can be ordered with Assist Devices to aid the user with getting in and out of bed as well as repositioning while in bed. The Deluxe Assist Handle provides a handy place to store the pendant control. Other options available are 1/4 and 1/2 length assist options to fit the needs of the user and caregiver.
