Protekt Serenity Gel Overlay

The Protekt Serenity Gel Overlay by Proactive Medical is the ideal overlay for the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers, while still being budget-friendly. The Protekt Serenity Gel Overlay is comprised of a series of individual gel bladders that provide deep submersion into the overlay. Because the gel bladders are compartmentalized, disproportional migration of the gel is eliminated. The fluid gel material also stays at room temperature at all times so the user stays cool and comfortable. There is a layer of high-density foam above the gel and a layer of high-density foam below the gel to prevent the user from bottoming out. The top cover is made of a non-shear, low-friction, anti-microbial fabric that is also fluid-resistant and vapor permeable. Each corner of the Protekt Serenity overlay has an elastic strap that can be fastened over a mattress to keep the overlay in place.
